Somatic Experiencing Training Institute Board Research Committee
The Somatic Experiencing® Research Coalition was founded by Cornelia Rossi, Ph.D. and Coordinator in her role as research chair of the Board of Directors for the Somatic Experiencing Training Institute (SETI). She is currently a member of the research committee of the Board of Directors of SETI. Cornelius Rossi is a biologist, Psychologist, somatic therapist since 1988. She is a member of the SETI Board of Directors and the president of the Brazilian SE professional organization. She is a member of the Rolf Institute Structural Integration® international faculty, Somatic Experiencing® Trauma Institute international faculty.
Mike Changaris, PsyD is a clinical psychologist with a specialty in the biological bases of behavior, stress physiology, and the neuroanatomy of PTSD. He is the training coordinator for an integrated health psychology program, training and supervising post-doctoral, pre-doctoral, and practicum level students on a biopsychosocial approach to team-based care. Mike Changaris, PsyD is current research committee chair for somatic experiencing training institute Board of Directors.
Somatic Experiencing Research Coalition (SERC) is an independent research organization. It supports the development of high quality research in to Somatic Experiencing. This organization is an independent affiliate of Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute. SERC has a liaison who makes regular reports to SETI staff and board. Several members of SETI BOD serve on SERC. SETI BOD and staff support the independence of SERC in developing our research community and supporting ongoing research projects.
